Lead
About the role
- Own delivery from brief finalized → delivered to client, with route-based SLAs across production pipelines
- Lead production managers across Footage, Casting, Editing, and Designn & Animation to remove bottlenecks and improve predictability
- Partner with the Creative team to maximize the efficiency of translating strategies and briefs into deliverables
- Provide clear capacity and timing views to PM/CS/CP/CSL; own execution timing for execution-only clients
- Build “fast lanes” (ex. 5-business-day in-house UGC packages) without lowering quality
- Define and continuously improve methodology-based production routes (not just outputs)
- Standardize playbooks, templates, handoffs, and AI-enabled workflows to reduce cycle time and increase consistency
- Expand CSC capabilities with evolving client needs and market trends
- Reduce internal rework by enforcing revision guardrails and clean handoffs (creative + hypothesis)
- Partner tightly with Creative Ops (QC) and Creative Strategists to keep QC loops efficient and raise first-pass quality
- Track client revision burden and live satisfaction signals to ensure we consistently meet the client quality bar
- Own execution efficiency to hit GM targets and keep CSC total costs (labor + management + vendors + variable production costs) within caps
- Define and calibrate the Token taxonomy (effort = time/money) to improve routing, scope clarity, and throughput planning
- Use levers like staffing mix, vendor strategy, overtime rules, template systems, Labs support, and asset reuse to protect margins
- Accelerate speed of learning by shrinking time from strategy rollout → first spend through faster execution and reliable operational readiness
- Connect production outputs to performance feedback loops with Media Buying and Creative Development
- Collaborate weekly with Creatives (CS/CPs), PMs, CSLs/CX, QC, Ops Excellence, Media Buying, Labs, Finance, Sales, and New Services Development
- Represent execution externally through the Creative Execution service line (kickoffs, select proposals, special offerings, escalations)
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in creative production / studio operations / creative ops (agency or in-house) with multi-discipline leadership
- Proven track record improving cycle time and delivery predictability without decreasing quality
- Strong production operations fluency across post-production + casting/creator workflows + shoots/footage
- Financial rigor: GM thinking, vendor strategy, cost controls, and capacity planning
- Systems builder: templates, standardization, routing rules, dashboards, and tool adoption (incl. AI-enabled workflows)
- Strong communication: options-based tradeoff framing (speed vs quality vs cost), clear stakeholder updates, calm escalation handling
Benefits
- A hyper-growth startup environment where your work has a real impact on the company.
- Consistent clarity and context from management, who are accessible to everyone.
- 100% remote work, collaborating with a talented team distributed across the globe.
