About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer specializing in AWS cloud operations to lead automation and optimization of the software delivery pipeline
Spearhead the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management on AWS
Lead efforts to optimize networking configurations and enhance system performance
Design and implement container orchestration solutions using ECS
Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize deployment processes and ensure seamless releases
Champion security best practices and implement measures to safeguard our cloud environment
Architect, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines tailored to our software development needs

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS cloud operations
Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation
Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS
Strong scripting skills with proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Familiarity with modern front-end development frameworks and architectural principles (e.g., React, Babel, TypeScript)
Ability to diagnose and resolve software development-related issues during deployment and migration processes
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and familiarity with semi-structured data tools like Athena and Redshift
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus
