About the role
- Own and evolve the QA strategy across Ready Education's SaaS platform
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers
- Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and emerging technologies
- Partner with engineering leads during feature design
- Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test suites
- Champion shift-left testing practices
- Drive release readiness processes
- Define and track QA metrics and report on platform quality
- Manage QA tooling, test environments, and test data infrastructure
- Lead root cause analysis on critical defects
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proven experience testing SaaS platforms or large-scale applications
- Strong technical foundation: hands-on experience with Playwright or comparable frameworks
- Ability to write, review, and maintain automated test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- Strong understanding of QA methodology, test design techniques, and defect management practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows (Git)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams
