About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Standardize, format, and convert legacy documentation and templates using Microsoft Word
  • Monitor documentation requests, perform intake, draft documents, and clarify ambiguous instructions
  • Review policies, plans, and procedures for logical gaps, obsolete parameters, and compliance misalignments
  • Map and verify procedure integrity from business purpose through evidence generation
  • Maintain the Document Control Master List, file naming conventions, and version control
  • Manage annual document revision cycles and report on active document queues
  • Schedule and participate in post-implementation reviews after major document releases
  • Intake, triage, prioritize, and route internal and external security, compliance, and regulatory requests
  • Draft initial responses to client security and compliance questionnaires using GRC systems and answer libraries
  • Maintain queue reports for support tickets and questionnaires to ensure SLA compliance
  • Log non-conformances and corrective actions, coordinate NCAR forms, and track remediation through closure
  • Collect, validate, consolidate, and report KPI and metric data
  • Coordinate quarterly Management Review Meetings, prepare 2–3 presentation slides, and track action items
  • Administer annual Conflict of Interest disclosures and Remote Worksite Evaluation Checklists
  • Manage the GDPR Data Subject Request queue and monitor statutory SLAs
  • Support vendor risk onboarding, questionnaires, completeness reviews, and risk-register updates
  • Coordinate internal audits, prepare checklists, take minutes, and log findings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in a highly organized administrative-control role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate proactively in a fully remote, Virtual-First environment
  • Direct security, compliance, legal, or IT auditing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, HITRUST CSF, HIPAA, NIST, or GDPR preferred
  • Experience with GRC platforms such as Thoropass or ticketing tools such as Jira and Confluence preferred
  • Advanced mastery of Microsoft Word and Google Workspace
  • Ability to design, style, template, and review complex documents using style sheets, headers/footers, section breaks, and tracked changes
  • Meticulous attention to document, data, acronym, and cross-reference accuracy
  • Ability to execute structured, multi-step procedures and track evidence end-to-end
  • Exceptional time management across multiple GRC queues and compliance schedules
  • Confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive HR, legal, financial, and regulatory records
  • Ability to conduct independent data mining, research, and analysis
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively via video conferencing, chat, and telephone
  • Ability to manage concurrent tasks in a self-directed remote environment
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment such as a company-issued laptop
