About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve your assigned territory quota by developing and executing a strategic territory plan
- Proactively identify, nurture, and close new business opportunities
- Conduct outreach to prospects and existing customers to deliver demos and close sales
- Coordinate efforts with marketing to increase reach and efficiency
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure success while independently driving your own sales efforts
- Track and document progress using a CRM (Salesforce experience is preferred)
- Lead or support 3-5 monthly events (e.g., luncheons, conferences) to engage prospects and customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in professional sales, business administration, or a related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in education or SaaS.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience selling to C-level titles or district/school-level administrators.
- 1–3 years of CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience conducting sales-related events such as dinners, luncheons, and conferences.
