About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understanding the flow of data across the University's different systems, including which fields can be found where, how the data are formatted, and the informations the fields should be capturing
- Applying advanced ETL knowledge to support the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of integrated data reporting
- Analyzing the data to generate actionable insights
- Effectively communicating findings to stakeholders
- Building relationships with different departments to ensure that data needs across the University are being met
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA or higher in Data Science, Economics, or related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in applied analytics or institutional research;
- Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, tidyverse);
- Experience with BI tools (Domo, Tableau, or Power BI);
- Familiarity with ETL workflows and SQL-based querying;
- Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills;
- Curiosity - we learn rapidly and eagerly;
- Ability to work effectively on multiple concurrent projects;
- Preferred: Experience in higher education, labor market, or workforce analytics.
