About the role

  • Utilize Power BI to gather and transform data from various sources (Excel, APIs, SQL) and create interactive dashboards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design meaningful visualizations
  • Design robust generalized SQL datasets by combining raw data for reports
  • Work closely with end-users to gather requirements and ensure dashboards meet needs
  • Identify opportunities for reporting and process automation and implement solutions
  • Apply data cleansing and transformation techniques using Power Query
  • Collaborate with data warehouse engineers to enhance data quality and resolve integration issues
  • Share best practices, provide technical guidance, and support Power Platform adoption
  • Train end-users on Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement security measures
  • Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Power Platform updates and features

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Analyst
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge
  • Hands-on experience developing custom Power BI Dashboards
  • Experience analyzing data within SQL databases and building company wide usable datasets
  • Ability to analyze raw data and identify useful metrics
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
