About the role
- Utilize Power BI to gather and transform data from various sources (Excel, APIs, SQL) and create interactive dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design meaningful visualizations
- Design robust generalized SQL datasets by combining raw data for reports
- Work closely with end-users to gather requirements and ensure dashboards meet needs
- Identify opportunities for reporting and process automation and implement solutions
- Apply data cleansing and transformation techniques using Power Query
- Collaborate with data warehouse engineers to enhance data quality and resolve integration issues
- Share best practices, provide technical guidance, and support Power Platform adoption
- Train end-users on Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement security measures
- Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Power Platform updates and features
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Analyst
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Intermediate SQL knowledge
- Hands-on experience developing custom Power BI Dashboards
- Experience analyzing data within SQL databases and building company wide usable datasets
- Ability to analyze raw data and identify useful metrics
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
