About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and learn to operate and provision critical workloads such as Redis, Elasticsearch, queues, and databases in large-scale environments
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), performing supervised updates to infrastructure projects
- Collaborate on system observability using tools like Datadog to create dashboards, configure alerts, and analyze logs, metrics, and tracing
- Participate in troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis
- Learn and apply engineering patterns, SLOs, SLIs, and SRE best practices to simplify, accelerate, and secure the infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Linux environments
- Experience with Git
- Advanced experience with cloud providers: GCP and AWS required; Azure recommended
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Intermediate understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to read and understand code to follow script and application logic
- Knowledge of observability, automation, monitoring, and software engineering concepts
- Analytical, proactive profile to develop technical skills and support junior engineers
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
