About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and learn to operate and provision critical workloads such as Redis, Elasticsearch, queues, and databases in large-scale environments
Contribute to the implementation and improvement of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), performing supervised updates to infrastructure projects
Collaborate on system observability using tools like Datadog to create dashboards, configure alerts, and analyze logs, metrics, and tracing
Participate in troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis
Learn and apply engineering patterns, SLOs, SLIs, and SRE best practices to simplify, accelerate, and secure the infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Linux environments
Experience with Git
Advanced experience with cloud providers: GCP and AWS required; Azure recommended
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Intermediate understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Ability to read and understand code to follow script and application logic
Knowledge of observability, automation, monitoring, and software engineering concepts
Analytical, proactive profile to develop technical skills and support junior engineers
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
