About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and evolve backend applications in Python, focusing on quality, scalability and maintainability
Develop integrations between products, platforms and internal and external services
Participate in defining and evolving the technical architecture of solutions
Ensure engineering best practices, including automated testing, observability, documentation and code review
Collaborate with developers, Product Managers and Product Designers to build scalable solutions
Use AI tools as development accelerators while remaining responsible for code quality, security and maintenance
Build an agent builder capable of interacting via natural language, templates and workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in backend development with Python
Good understanding of software architecture, REST APIs and event-driven systems
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code and Design Patterns
Experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL
Experience with automated testing, code reviews and collaborative development
Autonomy to work in evolving environments with a high degree of experimentation and ambiguity
Plus: experience with applied AI, especially LLMs, prompt engineering, MLOps or LLMOps
Plus: experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog
Plus: knowledge of messaging and asynchronous processing such as Kafka and Pub/Sub
