About the role

  • Develop and evolve scalable backend solutions using Ruby on Rails;
  • Contribute to building features, technical improvements and system maintenance;
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with Ruby on Rails;
  • Fix bugs and implement technical improvements with a focus on quality and performance;
  • Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and codebase security;
  • Monitor and provide support for production systems;
  • Support internal or external customers in resolving technical issues;
  • Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions with the team;
  • Continuously evolve the codebase with automated tests and reduction of technical debt.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, including developing and operating REST APIs;
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
  • Familiarity with engineering best practices such as SOLID and design patterns;
  • Attention to code quality and application of automated testing (RSpec);
  • Autonomy to carry out end-to-end development tasks;
  • Good communication, teamwork and a willingness to learn collaboratively;
  • Interest in technical growth within a collaborative environment.
