About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the monthly payroll processing for approximately 75,000 employees, ensuring compliance, quality, and adherence to established deadlines.
- Lead Payroll and Personnel Administration operations, ensuring the execution of critical employee lifecycle processes.
- Oversee calculations for payroll, payroll taxes and social charges, provisions, benefits, deductions, vacation, leaves of absence, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
- Manage the processing of approximately 3,500 employee terminations per month, ensuring calculation accuracy and compliance with legal deadlines.
- Ensure the correct application of labor, social security, and tax legislation, as well as the rules set forth in more than 300 collective bargaining agreements.
- Coordinate processes related to eSocial, DCTFWeb, FGTS, INSS, IRRF, and other ancillary obligations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Monitor operational, labor, social security, and tax risks, supporting internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Track operational KPIs, SLAs, productivity, quality, and accuracy, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in transformation, automation, and technology enhancement projects, supporting testing, user acceptance testing, and system implementations.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting high performance, technical training, process governance, and a culture of operational excellence.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Solid experience in Payroll and Personnel Administration.
- Experience in high-volume operations.
- Experience leading teams.
- Knowledge of labor and social security legislation.
- Experience with eSocial, DCTFWeb, and payroll taxes/social charges.
- Experience with payroll systems/ERP platforms (SAP/LG/APDATA).
- Experience in shared services center (SSC) environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and workload management skills, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to deadlines in highly complex environments.
- Experience identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and process transformation, supporting digitalization and innovation initiatives.
- Focus on delivering consistent results, with business acumen, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to the experience of internal and external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts, lead change, and influence stakeholders in dynamic, high-volume operational environments.
- Preferred knowledge: Strategic Payroll Management and Legislation; Process Excellence, Controls, and Risk Management; Automation, Technology, and Continuous Improvement.
