About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- We are seeking a Tax Planning Specialist with strong business acumen to analyze tax impacts on pricing, margins, procurement, interstate transfers and logistics operations.
- This is a strategic, analytical position focused on feasibility studies, scenario comparisons and identification of tax opportunities, especially related to ICMS, tax incentives, interstate operations and supply models.
- Assess tax impacts on price formation, margins, COGS (cost of goods sold) and overall operational profitability.
- Conduct comparative studies between current scenarios and new possible tax-operational models by state.
- Analyze impacts of ICMS, ICMS-ST, monophase products, tax incentives and special regimes.
- Evaluate procurement, transfer, replenishment and interstate flow operations, considering both tax and financial impacts.
- Support decisions related to direct purchasing, distributors, distribution centers and replenishment strategy.
- Identify opportunities for tax incentives and optimization of the tax burden.
- Build simulations and feasibility studies to support commercial, financial and logistical decisions.
- Translate tax impacts into clear financial information to support leadership decision-making.
- Work closely with Pricing, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Tax teams.
- Support the company in studies related to Tax Reform and its impacts on pricing, margins and operations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields is required.
- Experience in tax, tax planning, pricing, controllership, finance or business areas with tax interface.
- Experience analyzing tax impacts on pricing, margins, procurement, transfers or interstate operations.
- Solid knowledge of ICMS, ICMS-ST, PIS/COFINS and tax incentives.
- Experience building scenarios, running simulations and preparing feasibility studies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate tax data and information into practical recommendations.
- Advanced Excel.
- Preferred: Experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing or multi-state operations; experience with pricing, margin, COGS or profitability; knowledge of Power BI or other data analysis tools; experience with Tax Reform and its impacts on pricing/operations; prior involvement in projects related to logistics network, distribution centers or tax incentives.
