About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop end-to-end features involving mobile applications in React Native and backend services in Node.js
Build, maintain and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs
Propose architectures, technical patterns and development best practices
Perform high-quality code reviews, ensuring code standards and consistency
Provide technical support to mid-level and junior developers, fostering team growth
Contribute to performance, scalability, security, observability and overall solution quality
Participate in technical discussions with a critical, collaborative and product-oriented mindset

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum education: technologist degree (in progress) or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields
Experience in software development, working on projects of medium to high complexity
Solid knowledge in backend and/or mobile development
Experience building and integrating APIs
Strong software engineering best practices
Experience with source code version control
Knowledge of software testing
Experience with agile methodologies
Strong experience developing mobile applications using React Native with TypeScript, including the use of React Hooks and Context API for state management
Experience in backend development with Node.js and/or Express, and building and integrating APIs using GraphQL with Apollo Client and Apollo Server
Experience with containerization using Docker and using Redis for performance optimization
Proficiency in code versioning with Git, CI/CD practices, and implementation of unit tests
Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, ensuring monitoring and application quality
