About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the categories: skin care, lip balm and insect repellents (subject to change).
- Monitor revenue, margin and share results for the categories (targets).
- Develop omnichannel projects together with internal teams and category suppliers (initiation of the PGC process with strategic suppliers).
- Collaborate with multiple departments, conducting investigative analysis and delivering new insights for the category.
- Actively participate in product viability analysis for new product introductions, together with portfolio and purchasing teams, considering category role, product demand, margin and selling price.
- Support stores with product requests and in-store display/merchandising.
- Define strategy for the 1P product mix.
- Define in-store display strategy.
- Align with the RD Brands team for future development and management of the current portfolio.
- Align with the Purchasing team to ensure category and supplier strategies are coordinated.
- Manage assortment challenges and develop new projects.
- Improve customer-related KPIs through category management (GC) initiatives involving multiple teams.
- Serve as a product group specialist, ensuring the best strategic and tactical plan (assortment, target audience, positioning, etc.).
- Identify beauty market trends that are emerging on social media.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: degree in administrative-related fields (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Pharmacy, Engineering and Advertising).
- Recommended courses: specializations in business, administration, marketing and retail. Postgraduate studies are a plus.
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; advanced Excel (familiarity with formulas, pivot tables, and chart creation).
- Advanced Power BI.
- Experience analyzing market results (IQVIA, Nielsen and Scanntech).
- Experience with Dunnhumby for tracking customer indicators and category results.
