About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintenance engineering for automated systems (AMRs, ASRS, conveyors, etc.), structuring and governing preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance plans.
  • Development and monitoring of technical KPIs: availability (uptime), MTBF, MTTR, failure rate, maintenance backlog, adherence to preventive plans.
  • Spare parts management: inventory policy, ABC/XYZ criticality analysis, lead times, obsolescence and continuous supply contracts with OEMs.
  • Management of contracts, SLAs and supplier performance (local and international), including technical escalation, service audits and renegotiations.
  • Establishment of incident response processes, war room and technical crisis management, with clear escalation flows, communication and post‑mortem procedures.
  • Technical leadership in commissioning, ramp‑up and handover of new robotic systems.
  • Multidisciplinary interface with IT teams (WMS/WCS/WES/ERP), Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Occupational Safety and external suppliers.
  • Ensuring technical and safety compliance: NR‑10, NR‑12, NR‑17, machine risk assessment.
  • Driving technological evolution of assets: firmware/embedded software upgrades, retrofits, expansions and integration of new modules.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Control & Automation Engineering or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Industrial Automation, Robotics or Maintenance Engineering is a plus.
  • Solid experience in industrial or logistics environments with intensive automation.
  • Knowledge of integration across WMS ↔ WES ↔ WCS ↔ equipment layers.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems.
  • Advanced English is a plus.
  • Differential: previous experience with AMRs / goods‑to‑person systems in distribution centers.
  • Experience in international projects.
