About the role
- Support operations across insurance lines: Property Insurance (Operational Risk/Property), Domestic Transportation, Fleet Auto, Directors & Officers (D&O), General Liability, Surety, Cyber, etc.
- Open claims files/notifications and follow all handling until closure.
- General claims control, reporting provisions for recoverable losses.
- Analyze insurance proposals and renewals — review policy wording and coverage rules.
- Monitor issuance of insurance policies and resolve any pending issues until the policy is effective.
- Request issuance of endorsements/coverage riders and/or changes to insured items on policies.
- Monitor and fulfill internal requests, assessing needs for adjustments or maintenance of insured limits.
- Ensure compliance with insurer and internal SLAs for policy maintenance.
- Create and continuously review departmental procedures, ensuring full compliance with internal regulations and communicating them across the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Accounting knowledge — expense recovery
- Experience with SAP (plus)
