About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and solutions using investment and portfolio solutions, including proprietary and select third-party mutual fund solutions
  • Acquire and consolidate existing and new-to-RBC clients and assets
  • Connect clients with the right RBC team members to continuously meet their needs
  • Develop external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and centres of influence
  • Prospect and network to generate new investment sales
  • Help clients achieve their long-term financial goals through advice and solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial planning
  • Minimum 2–3 years of licensed mutual fund sales experience
  • Financial Planning Designation (PFP® or CFP®), or close to completion
  • Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)
  • Proven networking and client acquisition skills
  • Ability to cultivate strong partner relationships
  • Digital savviness and ability to effectively utilize mobile applications
  • Creativity, motivation, and drive for new investment sales
