About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and support repeatable, robust process to identify Data Elements that are most critical and has the highest impact on RBC’s key processes
Seek out industry trends and organizational knowledge to understand alternative approaches / solutions to propose viable options
Engage Data Domain stewards and Business Unit leadership to identify and define key business processes and prioritization and identification of critical reports
Support other Data Management activities
Identify, capture and curate metadata associated with CDEs for U.S. key regulatory reports
Communication and Documentation
Manage and report on work status, including escalating execution risks in a timely manner
Gain and apply an in-depth understanding of data management, data governance, and metadata tools and systems to support the definition and documentation of effective data elements

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-3+ years of experience in Data Management, Accounting, risk management, and/or Data Analysis
Undergraduate degree in a numerical discipline, business administration, finance or a combination
Good communications skills - verbal and written
Some experience with business and/or technical documentation
