About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and support repeatable, robust process to identify Data Elements that are most critical and has the highest impact on RBC’s key processes
- Seek out industry trends and organizational knowledge to understand alternative approaches / solutions to propose viable options
- Engage Data Domain stewards and Business Unit leadership to identify and define key business processes and prioritization and identification of critical reports
- Support other Data Management activities
- Identify, capture and curate metadata associated with CDEs for U.S. key regulatory reports
- Communication and Documentation
- Manage and report on work status, including escalating execution risks in a timely manner
- Gain and apply an in-depth understanding of data management, data governance, and metadata tools and systems to support the definition and documentation of effective data elements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-3+ years of experience in Data Management, Accounting, risk management, and/or Data Analysis
- Undergraduate degree in a numerical discipline, business administration, finance or a combination
- Good communications skills - verbal and written
- Some experience with business and/or technical documentation
