About the role
- Provide business and financial advice and manage a portfolio of high value small business clients
- Develop new business for RBC and deepen client relationships
- Partner with other RBC advisors and specialists to create an experience that clients appreciate and value
- Proactively contact clients to gather insights and understand their needs
- Plan and prioritize client and market activities
Requirements
- Business development and client acquisition and prospecting skills, including building and leveraging valuable Centres of Influence within the local business community
- Proven track record in exceptional client relationship management
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) required
- Credit skills and knowledge, including understanding of risk assessments, financial analyses, credit structuring/solutions, and deal presentations
- Completion of the Associate Account Manager training program, or previous experience as a small business owner, or in similar field
- Good knowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and services
