About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee end-to-end Canadian tax reporting for RBC Investor Services' investment products
  • Ensure accurate, timely CRA and Revenu Québec compliance while maintaining unitholder records and tax statements
  • Lead year-end tax projects and cross-functional initiatives with Fund Valuations and Financial Reporting teams
  • Shape operationalization of evolving tax regulations
  • Serve as escalation point for complex tax matters, communicating regulatory updates to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of related tax reporting experience in the investment fund industry or public accounting preferably in the financial services industry
  • Must possess excellent communications (written & oral) skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities, with a forward-looking and continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver against critical regulatory deadlines.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of the custody industry, Knowledge of fund industry, Project management skills, Advanced technical skills (Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and communication tools).
