Financial Planner, Investment Retirement Planning Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide superior responsive service to client fax, e-mail and telephone requests
- Provide superior responsive execution and delivery of client transactions/requests
- Determine key referral sources and have strong organizational awareness
- Demonstrate personal commitment to ensure skills and knowledge are up-to-date
- Respond quickly to client requests in order to build customer loyalty and trust
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated excellence in a service and sales support role working in collaboration with a sales team providing advice and responding to client requests
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, oral/written skills, good business writing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications)
- Resourcefulness and able to work independently (Nice-to-have)
- Energetic and enthusiastic team player who pays attention to detail (Nice-to-have)
- Sales-oriented, self-motivated, self-managed and thrive in a fast paced environment (Nice-to-have)
- Strong problem solving skills with a sense of urgency (Nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of Royal Bank systems including Sales & Service Platform and RBCNet will be considered an asset (Nice-to-have)
