About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support production and application development teams by providing expert guidance on Azure PaaS infrastructure, including App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and their supporting resources like Storage Accounts and Key Vaults
- Maintain and improve a shared library of Terraform modules and Azure DevOps pipeline templates to enable self-service for engineering teams
- Contribute to major infrastructure initiatives, including an application migration to a new Azure tenant and the evolution of our CI/CD platforms
- Implement and manage highly available and resilient applications running in containers on Azure
- Perform infrastructure remediation work to ensure compliance with Azure policies and security standards
- Mentor and support engineers across our teams, helping them with remediation work and promoting cloud best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, particularly PaaS services like App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Storage Accounts, and Key Vaults
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- Deep experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills necessary to work on a geographically distributed team and mentor other engineers
