About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate with clients to learn about their needs and help them achieve their goals
- Provide professional advice and education with an ability to address complex credit and investment needs, concerning both personal and business needs
- Participate in RBC at Work Group Advantage events and member onboarding
- Collaborate with market-leading professionals in Group Advantage, financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to ensure clients receive customized and targeted expert advice
- Leverage technology to deliver on client experience and enable performance and retention
- Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client’s banking problems
- Implement contact and relationship building strategies, and support new client acquisition in local community
- Educate clients of the features and benefits RBC products and services offer, and help clients with digital, banking including mobile, ATM, and online banking
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
- Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
- 2-3 years of proven experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments and converting pipeline leads and opportunities into results for the benefit of the client
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport quickly, and to maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Agile and adaptable to work in multiple environments, with strong presentation skills and comfort presenting in a group environment
- Digital savviness across multiple platforms and devices (i.e. Client 360, e-signature, mobile technologies. Comfortable navigating with and for clients
- Valid DFSA – designated financial services advisor certificate (nice to have)
- Active in the local community, developing a solid network in the local community (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Group Advantage value proposition (nice to have)
- Proficiency with Webex (nice to have)
