About the role

  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects
  • Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail
  • Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary
  • Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding and maintenance of existing client accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems
  • Support Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities
  • Stay current with all RBC Policies & Procedures
  • Provide support on assigned projects, conducting research, and sharing information with the team
  • Answering basic inquiries and resolving routine problems regarding products and services via calls, email, or internet chat
  • Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis
  • Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain client cash flows and balances

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • High level of time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (nice to have)
  • Interest in the Canadian investment landscape (nice to have)
  • Must be returning to school after the work term end-date or require the full work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully
