About the role
- Collaborate with the customer and development team to gather, clarify, and document requirements for dashboard enhancements and new features.
- Create mockups, wireframes, and visual prototypes to illustrate proposed functionality using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria within GitLab or equivalent tracking tools.
- Support front-end development tasks, including updates to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript components, under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in testing and validation of dashboard updates to ensure functional accuracy and visual consistency.
- Attend regular coordination meetings with the customer and RavenTek team.
- Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
- Submit Monthly Status Reports on a regular basis, as required.
- Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
- Complete required compliance training as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with front-end web development, UI/UX design, or business systems analysis preferred.
- Foundational understanding of software development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and data visualization concepts.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Familiarity with tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, and Power BI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to interface confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable development tasks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
