About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Field sales – regular customer visits and telephone support for the existing customer base
- Price calculations for requirement and quotation requests, and preparation of offers
- Checking availability of requested products
- Administrative processing of inquiries and projects
- Following up on demand requests / project tracking
- Checking order confirmations for compliance with agreed prices / price commitments
- Annual contract negotiations and administrative processing of contracts
- New customer acquisition and related tasks
- Technical/commercial acquisition of construction projects
- Handling complaints and claims
- Defining marketing measures for these customer groups (in cooperation with the Technical Area Manager) and the Marketing department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical degree and/or vocational training (particularly in civil engineering/construction)
- Several years of sales experience in a similar industry desirable
- Knowledge of the industry or related sectors: plastics, construction, insulation materials
- Good English skills, written and spoken
- Willingness to travel; Class B driving license mandatory
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Communicative, goal-oriented, independent, reliable, with a quick grasp of new information
