About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage execution of marine works (jetty / trestle, unloading platform, dolphins, pipelines, dredging)
- Coordinate engineering partners, contractors, and marine specialists
- Ensure compliance with environmental approval
- Oversee safety, permits, schedules, budgets, and reports
- Liaise with authorities, port services, engineers, and internal stakeholders
- Manage commissioning, testing, and project handover
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Coastal / Marine / Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years in marine or port construction projects
- Experience in jetty construction, piling, dredging, or marine works
- Knowledge of Greek permitting, Natura 2000, and HSE standards (including Seveso, ATEX)
- Fluent in Greek and English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work on-site in Lavrio for, at least, 3 years
- Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
- Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
