About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage execution of marine works (jetty / trestle, unloading platform, dolphins, pipelines, dredging)
Coordinate engineering partners, contractors, and marine specialists
Ensure compliance with environmental approval
Oversee safety, permits, schedules, budgets, and reports
Liaise with authorities, port services, engineers, and internal stakeholders
Manage commissioning, testing, and project handover

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Coastal / Marine / Mechanical Engineering
8+ years in marine or port construction projects
Experience in jetty construction, piling, dredging, or marine works
Knowledge of Greek permitting, Natura 2000, and HSE standards (including Seveso, ATEX)
Fluent in Greek and English, both verbal and written
Ability to work on-site in Lavrio for, at least, 3 years
Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
