About the role

  • Development and management of product relationships with our suppliers—leading manufacturers of high-quality engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) in the DACH region
  • Collaboration with European Product Management to implement market and product strategies
  • Support for our sales teams in designated product and application areas
  • Point of contact for strategically important customers in the region (Tier 1–Tier 2 experience advantageous)
  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities and ensuring a strong commercial presence
  • Provide first-line technical advice to sales teams and customers on product selection, market and application
  • Communicate success stories and product advantages within the region
  • Contribute to commercial planning and budgeting
  • Monitor performance of assigned product groups and ensure targets are met
  • Provide market intelligence that may influence budgeting and sales activities
  • Act as an interface between regional sales teams and suppliers
  • Translate product strategies into concrete regional action plans
  • Coordinate regional pricing, product availability and (negotiable) customer requirements
  • Produce accurate sales (demand) forecasts to support supply chain planning and ensure product availability
  • Contribute to demand planning and risk management strategies
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment of objectives
  • Coach and develop team members to strengthen knowledge and performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in commercial or technical product roles (technical activities)
  • Ability to influence and deliver results across functions and countries
  • Strong, clear communication and problem-solving skills, and competency in data analysis
  • Ability to manage complex and conflicting priorities, result-oriented and responsive
  • Hands-on mentality with a strong service orientation
  • Fluent German and English
  • Experience in a matrix organization is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to European meetings (up to 50%)
