About the role
- Complete month-end and year-end close processes
- Managing the production of financial statements for ASX filings
- Lead the Consolidated Financial Statements for the Annual Report
- Prepare and lodge statutory tax returns
- Lead accounts payable operations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes
- Manage cash flow projections and banking relationships
- Monitor and control expenses, oversee payroll team
Requirements
- 5+ years post-qualified experience in a hands-on financial reporting role
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, tax regulations, and treasury management
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in Xero, Sage/NetSuite experience is advantageous
- Experience with ApprovalMax and Stripe is an advantage
- Prior experience in ASX organisations is mandatory
- CPA or CA qualification
- Experience leading on and offshore finance teams
