About the role

  • Manage a team of 15 with 4 direct reports.
  • Lead technical vision and execution ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business strategy.
  • Responsible for growth, performance, and well-being of the engineering team.
  • Define and drive engineering standards (code reviews, CI/CD).
  • Develop engineering talent through established competency matrix and career framework.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams and translate technical challenges into business outcomes.
  • Own the technical architecture and guide the team on technical perspectives.
  • Lead the integration of emerging technologies into the core SaaS platform.
  • Maintain high uptime by championing SRE practices and improving Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Establish a clear release cadence in line with business and product strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Deep technical and architectural experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core) and Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  • A strong network within the tech community and experience building hybrid teams offshore teams
  • Experience managing significant Cloud budgets and optimising spend using AWS tools
  • You think like a product owner; you understand that technology exists to solve customer problems and drive revenue
  • Hands on technical skills combined with strategic thinking
  • Detailed experience managing security / ISO27000 and related tools.
