About the role
- Manage a team of 15 with 4 direct reports.
- Lead technical vision and execution ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business strategy.
- Responsible for growth, performance, and well-being of the engineering team.
- Define and drive engineering standards (code reviews, CI/CD).
- Develop engineering talent through established competency matrix and career framework.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams and translate technical challenges into business outcomes.
- Own the technical architecture and guide the team on technical perspectives.
- Lead the integration of emerging technologies into the core SaaS platform.
- Maintain high uptime by championing SRE practices and improving Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Establish a clear release cadence in line with business and product strategy.
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Deep technical and architectural experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core) and Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- A strong network within the tech community and experience building hybrid teams offshore teams
- Experience managing significant Cloud budgets and optimising spend using AWS tools
- You think like a product owner; you understand that technology exists to solve customer problems and drive revenue
- Hands on technical skills combined with strategic thinking
- Detailed experience managing security / ISO27000 and related tools.
