About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across all entities.
Prepare accurate, timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Maintain the general ledger and oversee all core accounting cycles.
Own revenue recognition across diverse models.
Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
Partner with business-line leaders to provide financial insight.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Drive automation and continuous improvement across finance operations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Required CPA designation.
7–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Finance Manager role.
Strong command of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles.
Experience managing external audits and stakeholder relationships.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial-systems proficiency.
Quickbooks knowledge is an asset.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the judgment to know when to dig into the detail and when to step back.
