About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Communicating with students and supervising Deans or other University staff related to teaching and learning
  • Be available for students via phone, email and for individual appointments as needed
  • Attend events, programmatic meetings, and committee work as agreed upon and/or designated by the Dean
  • Faculty must complete a minimum of six Rasmussen Educational Units (REUs) annually or two REUs per quarter

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of study
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Information Technology, or Healthcare Management/Administration
  • RHIA or RHIT certification
  • Online adjuncts will need regular access to a computer with system requirements Windows XP or greater, Microsoft Office 2010, and an internet connection
