About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with DDs, DCs, and other Instructional Designers to produce courses that are instructionally sound, interactive at multiple levels, achieves the competencies, and meets the needs of the program.
  • Design authentic assessments to demonstrate achievement of the course competencies.
  • Design courses that meet Rasmussen’s quality standards.
  • Create and maintain styles, standards, and best-practices for online course design.
  • Conduct training and informative sessions with peers, faculty, and staff.
  • Create interactive multimedia elements that incorporate multiple learning styles.
  • Design courses and partake in large scale projects/initiatives.
  • Articulate design approaches and best practices in online learning to DDs and DCs.
  • Support and contribute to Rasmussen’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or a Related Field.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing online courses or training.
  • Experience working with SMEs and various stakeholders.
  • Experience working with a diverse group of people representing multiple stages of life and experiences.
