About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Teaching effectiveness, professionalism, use of technology, and content expertise
Communicate with students and supervise Deans or other University staff related to teaching and learning
Organize classroom and efficiently use class time
Demonstrate mastery and ability to articulate and relate to students
Support students in collaboration with their Dean
Attend events, programmatic meetings, and committee work as agreed upon and/or designated by the Dean
Complete a minimum of six (6) Rasmussen Educational Units (REUs) annually or two (2) REUs per quarter for each quarter you teach

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology related field, or Social Work
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of study
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, and peers
Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills in the English language
Online adjuncts will need regular access to a computer with Windows XP or greater, Microsoft Office 2010, and an internet connection
