About the role
- International sourcing of organic raw materials with a focus on oilseeds and legumes
- Responsibility for the entire procurement process of defined product groups
- Identification, evaluation and development of new suppliers, as well as building and maintaining a global supplier network
- Active market monitoring and analysis of price and market trends
- Professional supplier management, including maintaining long-term partnerships
- Conducting annual contract and price negotiations
- Analysis of requirements and preparation of sales and procurement forecasts
- Ensuring product availability while considering quality, price and delivery reliability
- Close internal collaboration with operational purchasing, quality assurance, production and product management
- Travel to support suppliers and monitor markets
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or equivalent
- International professional experience, ideally in the food industry
- Enthusiasm for actively shaping and improving processes
- Very good spoken and written English
- Proficient user skills in SAP
- Strong negotiation skills
- Structured, service-oriented and well-organized working style
- Passion for organic food
