About the role
- Develop and optimize Unity-based enterprise and simulation applications
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and modular systems
- Implement multiplayer features including matchmaking, real-time communication, and session management
- Optimize rendering, physics, and runtime efficiency across PC, mobile, and embedded devices
- Integrate APIs, SDKs, backend systems, and real-time data streams with Unity applications
- Conduct profiling, debugging, and troubleshooting of runtime issues
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders in agile teams
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; contribute to technical roadmap and evaluate new Unity features/tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional Unity development experience across shipped projects (enterprise apps, simulation tools, or games)
- Strong proficiency in C# and Unity’s scripting API
- Solid knowledge of Unity core systems (physics, rendering, asset management, input, scene management)
- Hands-on experience with multiplayer systems (matchmaking, synchronization, networking flows)
- Experience with Nakama or similar backend solutions for multiplayer game services
- Experience integrating backend services (REST, WebSocket, gRPC, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with performance profiling and optimization
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Must be based in Izmir
