About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the product portfolio, analyzing revenue performance, volumes, costs and profitability
  • Conduct market intelligence studies (fleet, competition, sales potential and line coverage) to support strategic decisions
  • Plan and execute new product launches, interfacing with engineering, sales and marketing
  • Develop and analyze business cases to support investment and prioritization decisions
  • Define pricing and product repositioning strategies focused on competitiveness and margin
  • Manage the product lifecycle (launch, maturity and discontinuation)
  • Interact with engineering on technical product analysis (co-design, reverse engineering, black-box)
  • Ensure updates and quality of catalog information and product databases
  • Support sales, technical assistance and marketing with technical-commercial information
  • Monitor product certification and compliance requirements in the market

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields
  • Postgraduate degree completed or in progress
  • Proven experience in product management, portfolio management or technical marketing
  • Knowledge of quality tools
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge in market analysis, pricing strategies and building business cases
  • Experience interfacing with multidisciplinary areas (Engineering, Commercial/Sales and Supply Chain)
  • Experience in the automotive sector and/or aftermarket
  • Experience with automotive parts portfolio
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience in supplier development and management
