About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the company's implementation and updates to International Accounting Standards, with a focus on costing and inventories, aiming to deliver the best results for the Group — in Brazil and abroad;
  • Address external audit findings related to costing and inventories, in Brazil and internationally, supporting and ensuring their execution across all Group companies;
  • Ensure rollout of new controllership practices with other areas of the Corporate Shared Services Center (CSC) and Business Units in Brazil and abroad;
  • Lead corporate controllership topics in various projects: post-acquisition M&A projects, projects for implementing and updating accounting practices and costing methodologies, continuous improvement projects, among others;
  • Perform analyses of financial results and information, reporting to various stakeholder forums;
  • Periodically evaluate corporate policies related to the Controllership area and procedures for corporate accounting practices in an agile, secure, and efficient manner;
  • Work with a strong data orientation, integrating cost, inventory, and operations information, identifying efficiency opportunities, and measuring progress through strategic KPIs;
  • Monitor and ensure execution of key cycle and full inventory processes, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines, control governance, and support for implementation in new business units.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Postgraduate studies in progress (or completed) in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, or related fields;
  • Solid experience in controllership with a focus on costing and inventories;
  • Advanced English proficiency;
  • Knowledge of IFRS and BR GAAP (Brazilian GAAP);
  • Strong communication skills across different teams and cultures;
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge of manufacturing operations to address industrial costing specifics, inventory management, and cost formation from a corporate perspective;
  • Experience in reporting automation projects, database integration, and analytical process improvement;
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP.
