About the role

  • Clean and maintain all Pools and bodies of water on the property.
  • Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures.
  • Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience maintaining commercial pools and spas preferred.
  • Able to adjust and balance pool and spa water chemistry.
  • Three years’ experience working in a resort preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance.
  • Able to solve problems using basic trouble shooting skills.
  • Responsible for the safety of him/her self and others.
  • Knowledge of SDS, occupational hazards and applicable safety hazards.
  • Basic knowledge and handling of pool and spa chemicals.
  • Knowledge of basic methods and practices used in preventative maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to operate power tools.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with associates, guests, and vendors.
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times both internal and external.
  • Ability to assist in the maintenance of work orders and chemical records.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to continually seek improvement in results.
  • Basic skill in diagnosing and repair of applicable equipment.
