About the role
- Own Ramp's risk product roadmap, focusing on our application experience and risk management systems
- Improve how Ramp evaluates risk and builds the infrastructure to scale to hundreds of thousands of businesses across the US
- Drive product development by working closely with engineering, design, and various customer-facing teams
- Define and establish metrics that allow insights into the success of our products
- Use data and customer feedback to constantly iterate and evolve our product offering
- Deliver industry-leading products and user experiences by combining business acumen with creative product strategy
- Contribute to the vision, strategy, and processes that allow Ramp to scale the product management function at various stages of growth
Requirements
- BA/BS in a technical or analytical field
- Minimum of either:
- - 5 years of product management experience
- - 3 years of product management experience and 1+ year of experience as an engineer or data (applied) scientist
- Experience managing software products from ideation to launch - including managing the product vision, day-to-day prioritization, design, and go-to-market strategy
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers and designers towards a common goal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to evaluate product decisions and trade-offs while being hyper-focused on delivering value for our customers
- Comfortable using large datasets and leveraging insights to make decisions.
