Platform Engineer

• Own and scale critical backend systems — including data sync pipelines, search APIs, email/SMS delivery, and workflow automation — with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.
• Drive platform-level projects that unlock new product capabilities: activity feeds, custom objects, rate limiting, tenant isolation, and data enrichment integrations.
• Collaborate closely with product engineers to identify and eliminate platform bottlenecks, improving the velocity and reliability of feature development across the team.
• Participate in the shared platform on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews, improving system observability and resilience over time.
• Help shape the backend foundation for Rally's agentic platform — ensuring our core systems can support AI agents running research workflows at scale.
• Influence architectural decisions and establish engineering standards across the backend stack.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and day-to-day pairing as the team grows.

Senior Platform Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer

• Evaluate, select, and own Rally's CI/CD platform
• Define and track DORA metrics to drive continuous improvement in delivery velocity
• Build on-demand ephemeral preview environments for a large service footprint that can't run locally
• Improve inner-loop developer workflows: build times, local tooling, and service scaffolding
• Own Rally's full AWS stack (ECS/Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, MSK, DynamoDB) and mature our Terraform IaC
• Maintain and evolve Rally's Datadog observability stack
• Build automation tools and runbooks to reduce operational toil and accelerate incident recovery
• Drive post-incident reviews and translate findings into systemic improvements that prevent recurrence

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Own daily visibility into cash, burn, and runway, and hold the leadership team accountable to capital efficiency
• Build and maintain the financial model end-to-end: forecasting, scenario planning, cohort analysis, fundraising prep, and unit economics
• Run budget construction, departmental spend tracking, and budget vs. actuals reviews; centralize visibility into SaaS, AI, and vendor spend
• Partner on pricing and packaging — own the modeling, scenario analysis, and impact measurement behind pricing changes
• Lead GTM finance work in partnership with Sales: CAC, payback, cohort NDR, pipeline-to-bookings, and commission modeling
• Own procurement and vendor financial review; help decide what we pay for tools and where to negotiate
• Build board, investor, and fundraising materials and partner with the CEO on narrative
• Build the financial reporting and close infrastructure using modern tooling, AI, and automation
• Manage the outsourced accounting partner to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Finance Lead

Implementation Specialist

• Own technical onboarding and implementation for our largest Enterprise accounts, both as part of paid Professional Services packages and ad-hoc — managing API integrations, SSO configuration, custom workflows, and email deliverability from start to finish.
• Serve as the primary technical expert on the CX team — answering customer and internal questions across APIs, integrations, AI capabilities, and platform architecture without needing to escalate to Engineering.
• Partner with our Sales team in pre-sales conversations to provide technical credibility, scope custom implementations, and help close Enterprise deals.
• Build and ship lightweight internal CX tooling — using Retool, custom integrations, automations, and AI — that helps our team deliver faster and more consistently for customers.
• Surface product gaps and integration opportunities discovered through customer conversations directly to the product team, acting as a high-signal feedback channel.
• Help define the playbook for this function — building processes, documentation, and standards for technical consulting and solutions engineering at Rally from the ground up.
