About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve sales goals and manage the budget for assigned accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Identify customer needs and recommend corresponding Ralco solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, producers, and key stakeholders
  • Provide training and product demonstrations for distributors and end users
  • Document customer interactions and account activity in Salesforce

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Must be based within the territory covering the western half of the US
  • Frequent weekly travel required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with proven relationship-building ability
  • Strategic thinking and sales planning skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, specifically Salesforce
  • Solid understanding of animal health products and industry trends
  • Ability to analyze data and apply insights to sales strategies
  • Technology proficiency and adaptability
  • Alignment with Ralco’s values and purpose
  • Experience working within the poultry industry selling value-added products
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Ability to maintain a professional presence and vehicle
