About the role
- Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Viber’s platforms across mobile and desktop clients, in close collaboration with the R&D team.
- Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Business leadership to define and deliver a product vision that balances user needs, business growth, and technical opportunities.
- Own the measurement and improvement of technical performance and usability across platforms.
- Scale usage, retention, user satisfaction, and monetization through scaling experiences across platforms.
- Define, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for your products and use this data to make trade-off decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, including demonstrated experience taking complex technical products or infrastructure platforms from conception to launch.
- Experience in software development.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to define requirements, make technical trade-offs, and manage a product backlog.
- Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously in situations of high ambiguity and complexity.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution instincts - able to zoom out to the vision and zoom in on the details.
- Advantage: 3+ years in Mobile software development.
