About the role

  • Define and execute the platform strategy and roadmap for shared services.
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for internal APIs, authentication, access control, & inter-domain integration.
  • Partner deeply with domain Product Managers and Platform Engineering to identify dependencies, design reusable services, and drive alignment on shared capabilities.
  • Champion platform reliability and security.
  • Conduct in-depth user research, onsite observations, attend customer events, complete interviews, and perform data analysis to gain a deep understanding of the target persona's needs.
  • Define KPIs and adoption metrics for platform components to drive data-driven prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-domain prioritization and sequencing, ensuring that foundational platform work is unblocked.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong background in distributed architecture and platform or infrastructure product management, ideally within SaaS, EMR, or healthcare technology companies.
  • Deep understanding of identity management, access control frameworks, event-driven architecture, and API ecosystem design.
  • Experience in governance frameworks that effectively balance flexibility with consistency across multiple product teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent work experience.
