About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage as directed technical and acceptance testing on multiple Programmes/projects/enhancements/upgrades.
- Support related activities to existing and inflight Digital Ticketing solutions.
- Support design and production of test cases, scripts, and plans across the project lifecycle.
- Identify, manage and implement a range of manual and automation test scripts.
- Manage all test issues through to completion including detailed analysis and resolution with stakeholders.
- Deliver technical documentation and guides as required.
- Ensure maintenance of a high-quality test environment.
- Assist with developing internal test practices complying with DTS practices and test strategies.
- Apply analytical skills to existing complex IT solutions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Execute tests in the Test portfolio across multiple projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in the implementation and execution of testing activities, including test automation, within large and complex solutions.
- Strong track record in the production and delivery of technical documentation, including test artefacts, guides, and supporting materials.
- Experience in certification and standards‑based testing is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in interpreting technical specifications, requirements and standards documentation.
- Proven capability in technical problem‑solving, risk identification, and the application of ITIL‑aligned processes.
- Familiar with industry‑standard test tools and technologies, including ReadyAPI and Postman, Playwright, Selenium, Python, and SQL.
- Knowledge of ITSO specifications and rail‑related standards (including RSPS 3002 and related frameworks) is essential.
- Knowledge of cEMV processes and practices is desirable.
