About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify product requirements and create test scenarios
Conduct manual and automated tests for new developments
Participate in planning test scenarios and cases using test design techniques
Report defects, track corrections, and quality-control changes
Communicate with team members and participate in daily meetings, retrospectives, and other team meetings
Create and update testing documentation
Develop, configure, and maintain automated tests for key product functionalities
Create UI and API testing scripts
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of software testing experience focused on mobile applications
3+ years of mobile automated testing experience
Hands-on experience testing and researching requirements to prevent early-stage defects
Knowledge of test design techniques
Experience writing test documentation
Understanding of testing fundamentals, test types, levels, and the role of testing in the SDLC
Knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and automation framework construction
Experience with Java, Appium, and REST Assured
Experience with simulators/emulators, real devices, and device farms
Proficiency with Charles Proxy or Proxyman
Experience with Postman and Swagger for API testing
Experience working with microservices architecture
Experience with logs and localizing defects
Banking domain logic and security standards are a plus
Accessibility testing, Camunda, Kafka, and Firebase experience are a plus
SQL experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL is a plus
Experience with AI-driven tools is a plus
