About the role

  • Operation and further development of the group-wide network and security infrastructure, including multi-vendor switching environments, WAN and site connectivity, enterprise NGFW environment, remote access, VPN and secure access solutions, and company-wide WLAN solutions
  • Design and implementation of security architectures
  • Lead medium-sized technical projects and participate in cross-departmental and cross-country projects
  • Coordinate external service providers and cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Degree in an IT-related field or IT vocational training with technician certification or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in networking and/or security, ideally in internationally distributed infrastructures
  • Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
  • - Enterprise switching and routing in complex environments
  • - Operation of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and network segmentation
  • - Analysis and troubleshooting at 2nd/3rd-level support
  • - Basic understanding of or practical experience with IDS/IPS, threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring
  • Strong interest in new technologies
  • Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
  • Enjoy working in cross-functional and international teams
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
