About the role

  • Perform and further develop cost element, cost center and cost unit accounting in SAP
  • Transfer product and division profitability reporting to SAP/CO-PA
  • Ensure and optimize operational controlling processes, including project billing, budget controlling and costing in SAP
  • Analyze costs and revenues and prepare profitability analyses at product, customer and division level
  • Ensure data quality and further develop controlling instruments
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses, profitability calculations and decision support for management and other business partners
  • Support the further development of controlling IT systems (especially SAP and SAC) with a focus on the S/4HANA migration
  • Prepare corporate planning within the area of responsibility, together with the Business Partnering and Group Controlling teams
  • Communicate with and advise relevant stakeholders within the RAFI Group

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration (e.g., BWL), Industrial Engineering with a focus on Finance/Controlling, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling within a manufacturing company
  • Solid, several years of experience in the SAP CO-PA module
  • Very good knowledge of product profitability accounting, contribution margin accounting and business analytics
  • Confident use of SAP (modules CO, FI) and good knowledge of MS Office
  • Analytical thinking, strong affinity for numbers and a structured working style
  • High commitment, initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
