Associate Producer, Unreserved, English Services
Radio-CanadaAssociate Producer responsible for producing content related to Indigenous perspectives and stories for CBC/Radio-Canada. Engaging with Indigenous communities and amplifying their voices through media.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the production, direction and/or post-production of a radio program and/or program segment;
- Produce content and encourage conversation in our social media community;
- Write online articles.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum two years relevant experience in radio broadcasting.
- Deep knowledge of and connection to Canada’s Indigenous community.
- Strong pitching, chasing and writing skills.
- Strong digital and social media knowledge.
- Excellent team player.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Initiative and creativity.
- Experience working in the field.
- Digital editing skills and knowledge of content management systems is an asset.
