About the role

  • Report to the Manager of Ad Operations and partner with sales to build revenue and renewals through customer service and campaign management
  • Coordinate, monitor and optimize display, video and audio ad campaign performance to ensure campaign success
  • Book, schedule and launch campaigns; set targeting, frequency caps, load and test creatives and verify specs across CBC/Radio‑Canada networks
  • Use platforms including Google Ad Manager, Triton Audio Platform, Advendio to manage campaigns and billing
  • Follow proper month-end billing practices, process debits and credits through Google Ad Manager and Advendio
  • Create post-campaign reports using GAM, TAP and Burt to provide insights and upsell opportunities to sales reps
  • Project manage special projects and events, collaborating with Marketing, editorial, creative and technical teams to integrate IAB and CBC-RC ad requirements
  • Perform other duties within the scope of ad operations and sales as required

Requirements

  • Three years’ experience in the online ad industry, media, sales and/or marketing
  • Three years of proven working knowledge of Google Ad Manager and Advendio or other OMS platforms
  • Experience with Google Publisher Tags, 3rd party ad tags, audio normalization, VAST and VPAID technology
  • Knowledge of the programmatic space, RTB and programmatic guaranteed campaigns
  • Experience in Internet Technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Video assets
  • Experience with both Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
  • Up-to-date knowledge of all mobile technology (Platforms, Devices, Operating Systems, mobile SDKs such as Ad Mob and GMA)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Canadian IAB standards and best practices
  • Proven customer service knowledge and skills
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong technical aptitude or willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external contacts
  • Judgment and resourcefulness to solve problems independently
  • Ability to collaborate and improve current processes and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to excel as part of a national team in an entrepreneurial, innovative, and dynamic environment
